I have a Gibson F-5G and these strings are the standard for me. Excellent playability and tone for any genre you wish to play. I play every day and these strings hold their own for one week, you can get an extra 1-2 days out of them by performing a string cleaning. I perform on occasion and would not choose any other string.

Reliable service from Just Strings. I paid the lowest price I could ever find and that includes the shipping cost out of CONUS. The J74s are widely used by mando players everywhere. They do the job as well as, or better than any other string on the market. My overall rating is well-deserved.

I have been using these strings for close to 30 years now, possibly longer than they were making them. I broke a string recently and my spare date back to when they had dampers wound into the ball end. I don't know why anyone uses anything else. (OK I understand buying the J75s!)
