A modern sound

Very impressed with these strings. They produce a very clean, articulate sound, almost piano like. Especially the hard tension. Highly recommended!
ProsVery articulate. Perfect intonation.
ConsNot cheap. You get what you pay for 🙂

I've been playing for close to 50 years. I am not exaggerating saying I've tried most of the commercially available strings. I'm glad to have found "Just Strings" a few years back. These strings I bought to try on one of my numerous guitars, a 4-5 year old, Taylor, Nylon String, 312-ce-N. I had used Savarez, 520-R's for years on most of my Nylon string guitars. I had read an article about the advantages/disadvantages of Carbon strings for Recording/Performing and became interested. I find that playing finger style with these strings on that guitar, I get a very crisp feel, increased volume (especially in the lower register), and an increased tonal experience playing octaves up/down the neck. The strings feel stiffer making them easier to consistently fret without as much difference that string pressure can make in overall pitch. Yes, i have found another dear friend for life and am very pleased with the performance of these strings. i find them much more responsive/consistent and have transformed my Taylor into my new "go-to" nylon string!

EJ46FF Strings (Nylon)

The strings sound nice, however, I break a b or high e almost ever time I restring. I've never broken any other string. The package says "Hard Tension" and the Taylor factory recommends them. As I said, they are the only nylons that I've ever snapped. Again, the sound is just fine.

I had not been a big fan of d'addarios, I thought they were good, even, but a bit polite sounding. On my flamenco guitar with these strings, I am getting rich overtones, loudness, and the trebles have a bit more punch without being too bright. They may be pricey, but try one set and see what you think.
