Awesome! Didn’t know, at first, that the black coating is supposed to wear off but was surprised to see how much it helps to know where you play. Ordering more!

I have played these strings for over 10 years and now I get mad when I can't find them in stores. I won't use another set of strings but the black coated .011 gauge strings. I promise you.

Tried these on my Godin Artisan St Signature which is a bit brighter sounding than a Strat, and noted an immediate softening of the tone which suits my style a lot. I don't know what these would sound like on a Les Paul or similar guitar, but their sound is perfectly clean and with overdrive nice and fat. Going to be my string of choice for my electrics from now on.
