My favorite strings for tenor uke!

These strings are easy on the fretting hand and have a wonderful clear and rich tone. Just Strings was a great company to order from - fast delivery, great communication. Highly recommended.

I love the Red strings Same good tone an a smooth low "G"

I fine the Aquila strings sound best on my ukuleles. Most are Cordobas.
The Red low "g" does require a little care when installing, but I get good life from them
with a little TLC on the install.

Great sound. I've had them on my uke for over 18 months, still going strong.

Sound great. Take a few days to hold tune. Current set in use over six months.

Low G Red String
August 2, 2014
Despite the wonderful tone, the string is not durable. If you get three weeks out of it, that is probably the best you can hope for. Truly tragic for such a wonderful sounding string. Go instead for Aquila's nylgut...not quite the same quality sound, but far more durable.
From the Aquila Website: Attention! The Red Series strings must be stretched by your fingers in a gentle way. Not too much. They settle up in tune in 2-3 days.
