"Thomastik-Infeld banjo strings are part of the "Precision Steel" brand of strings which are made for violin, viola, cello, bass, mandolin & mandola. The wound strings are made of flat wound (ribbon) chrome steel. The treble strings are plain steel.
The grades of metal used are high European grade which adds a lot to the cost of production. Many mandolin players have found our Precision brand to be the ideal string for their instrument."
