In contrast to the extra flexible Corum basses, Alliance wound basses are made according to a more traditional design and with established technology. They are stiffer and offer more resistance under the fingers. Their characteristics are a quick attack, rich and brilliant tone, and great projection for a more percussive playing. They also match perfectly the Alliance KF composite trebles and provide a well balanced set.
