Earl Scruggs Signature
" When you say "Earl Scruggs", you mean Bluegrass banjo playing at its best. It also means the best banjo strings Gibson has to offer! These strings have a crisp, clean sound to them and notes pop off with a clarity that will come through every time! Choose between two gauges to give your playing style extra flexibility."

Gibson Banjo Earl Scruggs NPS Wound 4th, .0095 - .020, SBG-ESL5Crowell HolcombOctober 3, 2009I have been using these strings for years. I have tried several other brands, mostly Vegas, GHS, and recently Elixirs, but I always go back to the Gibsons. I play with a local bluegrass band, and my hands perspire a lot. These Gibsons are good for 2 gigs at least, even with the "sweaty hands". |
