Ernie Ball Electric Guitar - Coated Regular Slinky, .010 - .046. 3121GEOPISANOSeptember 9, 2010I started using Ernie Ball RPS strings about 6 years ago when I found out that Clapton used them on his strats straight out of the factory. I have a lot of strats...some masterbuilt by Todd Krause who builds a lot of EC's guitars. The RPS strings mean Reinforced Plain Strings which made the first three (thinnest) strings coated. Now EB comes out with all coated. I can't remember breaking strings at all with these strings and they last forever. I change them just because they've been on so long sometimes (not that they need it). Joe Shmo who wrote they broke all the time duped anybody who didn't buy them because of what he said. I hope "you" didn't listen to that idiot. JS Probably works for competitor or doesn't even play!
